Identification Name Tags, Date Coding

This covers the date coding system that is used for devices which require permanent identification as to their

date and place of assembly.

The date code shall be stamped with metal stamp directly on the device at a specified location or on a tag or

washer which is firmly affixed to the device.

The date coding is as follows:

Hose Assembly Date Code

Hose assemblies are identified with a date followed by the letter “S” indicating Salisbury.

Example: 12/05/77 S
